Feature Request: Allow setting a default value for “Limit views” in Send link settings (Organization level)

Description:
I would like to request an enhancement to the Send feature for organizations. Currently, when creating a new Send link, the “Limit views” option always defaults to “No limit,” and each user has to manually change it if they want to restrict the number of views.

For security and consistency reasons, it would be very useful if organization administrators could set a default value for “Limit views” in the organization settings — for example, to automatically apply a default of 1 view to all new Sends created by members.

Use case:

  • Many organizations use Send links for sharing sensitive data (e.g., credentials, files, or notes).

  • Limiting the number of views improves security by reducing the risk of unauthorized access or link reuse.

  • Allowing admins to define a default (e.g., 1 view) would ensure consistent security policies across the organization and save users from having to manually adjust this setting every time.

Proposed solution:
Add an option under the Admin Console → Settings → Policies → send options that allows setting a default value for “Limit views.”

Example:

Default Send view limit: [ 1 ]

If possible, also allow the organization to enforce this default, preventing users from changing it.

Benefit:

  • Increases security consistency

  • Reduces user error

  • Saves time when creating multiple Sends
