Failed user logins logs on Linux

Installed my self hosted bitwarden a few months ago and trying to do some hardening on the server side access.
I wanted to configure fail2ban to block password brute force attacks and similar.
Could someone share the location of failed login logs or if they are available at all?

use this command with sudo privileges

lastlog

It retrieves /var/log/lastlog values
