I did not tweak any design related settings on either browser.

  • Does anyone see the difference on their system as well?
  • Was the readability/legibility reduced again (which only does not show yet on Firefox on my system)?
  • Or do I have an issue on Vivaldi?

Though, the longer I look at it, the more subtle the difference seems to be… :thinking:

Yes — slight differences on Firefox (2026.1.1, left) and Edge (2026.2.0). The font looks smaller and less sharp on Edge.

Thanks, I’m all in for nostalgia! – But is it progress to look at the old UI without feeling pain? :sweat_smile:

Anyway, the item text was far more readable back then. (apart from the discussion of the information/space ratio: I still do like the new width customizations)

Thanks, you’re right – the text on the right side of your screenshot is smaller. And therefore less sharp?!
