Android – Nice to have request

When trying to use gboard glide to enter the password, it only selects the last letter touched. I prefer to make my passwords long phrases. Having to enter them a character at a time is frustrating.

Change your keyboard settings

  1. On your Android device, open the Settings app .
  2. Tap System. Languages & input.
  3. Tap Virtual keyboard. Gboard.
  4. Pick an option, like Glide typing or Voice input.

Thanks, those are my current settings.

I just tried using glide for passwords in other apps, didn’t work there either :frowning:

I thought maybe it was because I didn’t show the password – nope.

I will submit this suggestion to the gboard developers and maybe try a different keyboard app.
