Enable browser Autofill to keep filling passwords

Hi,
For a while now I am having problems with the Bitwarden App on Android. After I unlock the app, I always get a popup message:

Enable browser Autofill to keep filling passwords

Your browser has recently updated, which has disabled Bitwarden autofill. To continue filling your passwords with Bitwarden, enable browser autofill in autofill settings.

Not now / Go to settings

When clicking Go to settings I am redirected to the autofill settings. Here I can see that Autofill services are enabled, Display autofill suggestions is set to Inline and Use Chrome autofill integration is disabled (not using Chrome, I am using Firefox). I have the Bitwarden extension for Firefox installed.

I cannot really tell what I am supposed to do and how to get rid off the popup message.
I searched the forum but could not find this issue, I apologize if I missed it.

If am open to any ideas on how to solve this. Thanks in advance!
Robert

@robert_is_confused Welcome to the forum!

Just enable Chrome autofill integration.

Just FYI, using the browser extensions on mobile (!) browsers is not supported by Bitwarden.

Hi Nail,
thanks for the answer. When pressing on Use Chrome autofill integration I get a click animation, but cannot enable it.

Hm.

Did you deactivate Chrome on your device?

Usually, when you enable it…

… you then should see this dialog:

… and then you are prompted to restart Chrome, what you should do.

If Chrome is not deactivated and it still doesn’t work, my first (and probably last ) idea would be to make a fresh deinstall/reinstall of the mobile app.

Thanks for all your help Nail,
I reinstalled Firefox, Chrome and Bitwarden and it seems gone for now. Might show up again the next time a browser updates, will see.
Thanks!
