Emergency Access Process

Hi. I created a bitwarden account and promptly lost the password. Was able to incite an emergency contact (me @ another email account). It states it is accepted and shows Takeover beside my account email. I access this through my new account. There is no gear icon so will i never be able to take over my original account that I paid $10 on already?

If your main concern is the recovery of your $10 subscription fee, I would suggest contacting Bitwarden’s Support Team. I believe thay’ll be able to credit this to your new account.

Thanks thats not my main concern but rather the process seems to have failed in my case. $10 is on the bottom of the list. Thank you for the advice though I will do that as well.
