I’m a bit confused about why I need to be FIDO compliant.
I just want the same security as a max complexity password, and a unique username, but without having to generate a password or a username. I see max security without the need to remember a password, as the key value of a passkey.
If I work at an organization the requires double verification of the passkey, sure give me an option to turn that on; but for my everyday life, just let me use a passkey as better password. i.e. one password to rule them all, and only ask me for once until I lock my vault again, or restart my browser/computer/whatever.
