Feature name
- F6 shortcut key to jump directly between the three columns/panels of the desktop application
Feature function
- Currently, while (with a few minor bugs) everything can be navigated using
Tab
/Shift+Tab
, it can be tedious to reach specific parts of the interface, as a keyboard user has to potentially tab through dozens/hundreds of items, lots of controls in the left-hand column, etc.
- A common shortcut (on Windows at least) in native applications to jump between discrete sections/panels of an app is F6. For instance, in browsers, this generally lets you jump to the tab bar, URL bar, bookmarks bar, and back to the main browser view.
