That sounds like you’re not (yet) familiar with the “structure” of the “Vault view” (i.e. when you choose the Vault tab on the bottom left of the extension window) of the extension.
That Vault view has three main sections (well, apart from the search and the “filters”):
- Autofill suggestions (–> depend on the current website and provide “fill” functions by default)
- Favorites (if you marked any vault items as such)
- All items (a list of all items in your vault → depend on your current choice of the filters)
Just some general points that may help a bit to understand e.g. when there is a fill button/functionality or when there is no launch button/function:

Autofill suggestions

don’t have a launch button → as they depend on the current website tab you’re on, your site was already launched, so no need to “launch it again”

only items shown in the “Autofill suggestions” have “Fill” functionality: by default the Fill-button
- … well, technically in the other sections there is also a “forced fill” option…

You can add your cards and identities permanently to the autofill suggestions if you wish: Settings → Autofill → Always show cards / identities as Autofill suggestions on Vault view (then, your cards / identities will be added as sub-sections to the Autofill suggestions)

Items shown here have no autofill functionality (!) → autofill is (for security reasons and “by default”) restricted to matching sites

Independent of the current website you’re on → therefore there is a “launch website” button now
