Attempting to revise my bitwarden master password. However the screen that comes up is for email changing and if I put in the same email, which I want to keep I get an error message. If I leave New email field blank, I get an error message. Can’t seem to get to the password change screen

If you are in the Desktop app and select Account > Change Master Password, you will just get a pop-up alert that asks “Continue to web app?”. If you click Continue, your web browser will open the login screen for the Bitwarden Web Vault. There, you need to enter your email address, click Continue, then enter your (original) master password and click Log In With Master Password. This is all just to access your Web Vault.
After you have logged in to the Web Vault, use the left-hand navigation bar to go to Settings > Security. There, you will see the “Session Timeout” settings for the Web Vault app, but if you look at the top of the webpage (just below the “Security” header), you will see 5 tabs — you should click on the second tab, which is labeled “Master Password”. This will open the form for changing your master password:
