The firefox app stopped working. I opened the desktop app, which updated. I checked and the firefox app was 2024.4. I updated to 2024.8.2. Firefox is up to date, version 130.0. After updating app, I get invalid master password message. However, I have no problem logging into the desktop app. I have restarted the computer several times.
Can it be that with updating the firefox extension, it āresettetā to the wrong server region? Try if the other server region works, if you donāt know where you have your Bitwarden account (US or EU).
If that doesnāt work, I would make sure to log out from the app. (assuming with that: you may be just ālockedā and have to unlock the app - but sometimes completely logging out resets it so that a new login can work again) After that, try a new log in.
If that doesnāt work as well, I would completely deinstall the extension and reinstall it. And/or maybe delete the local storage of the app (see here: Storage | Bitwarden Help Center).
Well I have the exact same problem - but the other way around! BitWarden works in my computer browser extensions, my iPad and my iPhone but if I try to log in to the Macos App I get a wrong email or password error!
Since my desktop app was working, I deleted the Firefox browser extension, then reinstalled through desktop app.
The browser app now works.
