Can't access to my account through self-hosted site.

Hello there,

I’m having an issue since last week with the bitwarden extension for Windows browsers. Tried in different browsers: firefox, Edge and Chrome but in all of them hace the same issue:

I can join from website, but isn’t the same…

Thanks in advice.

Hello @user182, welcome to the community!

The error you are receiving is very generic. Could you open the extension in a separate window and open the browser console in order to see any log messages?

BTW: Using the screenshot tool provided by your operating system instead of taking an actual photo of the screen with a camera would improve the quality of your screenshots.

Thanks’ you marlin.

I didn’t use the screenshot tool because it’s a work laptop and I used my personal Google account to login here.

Anyway, here’s the screenshot you requested.

Thanks in advice.

@user182 Welcome to the forum!

Please post a screenshot from your Admin Dashboard.

It’s a corporate selfhosted server so can’t access there, I’m an employee.

Hm, I mean, we’re happy to try to assist here - as far as we can - but did you try to get assistance from your company?

PS: Do you know whether it is a Bitwarden or Vaultwarden server?

About the last question, I’m not sure but I can access from the website so it would be.

Yes, I tried to get assistance from them but didn’t got an answer since last friday, so…

Will talk with them again if there’s nothing to do from here, thanks for assist!

The error 502 Bad Gateway error indicates a network issue, probably involving a proxy or load balancer. There is not much that you (or Bitwarden) can do.

I solved it by logging via web, then using the SSO login option. Then it uses the session logged and logs the account from the extension.

Thanks for your help.
