Cannot login using app on Windows 10

Trying to log in to my Win 10 machine using the Bitwarden app. I get “An error occurred” red banner but I am logged in to the same account with the same credentials on other devices with no problem. i have even sent myself a “forgot password hint” email, and verified that what I have is correct. I can log in to my account on and using the Firefox extension in the browser, and on my mobile devices with no issues, using the same credentials.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It appears that the bitwarden process in task manager is loading twice for some reason.

This sounds like an issue specific to your PC keyboard. Checking the Caps-Lock is an example, but less obvious issues might involve international keyboard layouts and characters that differ between the PC and your other devices.
