What version of the Desktop app do you have installed, and could you please confirm that the app is in fact still running when you get to the step “Go back to extension settings to click again”?
I have sometimes found after granting the permission in chrome, I have had to close and reopen the Bitwarden browser extension’s settings to un-grey the box. I am on Windows, so our mileage may vary.
Yes, this morning after pushing settings buttons a few times this eventually worked.
Have managed now to get all users that were seeing this issue set up.
