[Bug] Cannot login via the Firefox addon

Since 2 days the Firefox extension can no longer connect to the desktop client. The desktop client itself is still working fine.

MacOs 13.5.2 (22G91)
Firefox 117.0 (64-bit)
Bitwarden add-on 2023.7.1
Bitwarden desktop client 2023.8.3 (11485)

Latest Update of the Bitwarden Desktop Client fixed my problem
Version 2023.8.3
Firefox now logs in correctly again with Windows Hello.

BW extension updated to 2023.8.3. :ok_hand:
With the recent issues, I messed up the Hello/Pin log in method, (in FF and Edge I have only the possibility to log in by password, the desktop app also Hello/pin) but I should at least be able to FF log in with my password, right? Well, I can’t !!! I still get the error the password is wrong ! :astonished:
Add more, I copy that FF password, start up Edge and try to log in by pasting the password. This works! :smile:
Thus the password I typed in in FF extension is correct, yet BW says it isn’t !? :thinking:
Any ideas?

As I am running out of time to sit behind the PC right now, I will look further into this later.
I am having some other minor issue in FF, where the solution in forums is given to repair Firefox.
Maybe a FF repair solve things.
I report back later.

I did a Firefox repair to no avail. Same issue, log in doesn’t work.
Also my other minor issues are not solved, so far the (other) forum help :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Next, when I tried logging in to Bitwarden(US) instead of Bitwarden(EU) login worked :crazy_face:
I am in Europe and can’t remember I ever did register other than (EU) :confused:
To be complete, before the (US) login did not work either.

Anyway, the login issue is fixed, though not completely yet (finger and PIN don’t seem to work)

I had trouble logging in from my extension in Firefox. When I clicked log in with master password, the dialog box got bigger, but it wouldn’t log in. But it worked on the stand alone app (I’m on a mac).

SOLUTION: I had a script blocker that was preventing the captcha window from showing up. I allowed that, and it worked.

New issue :unamused:

When I want to log in to a website I need to fil in the login and the password.
In one (or more? not sure) case I have a choice in 3 logins. In this case it’s my provider and my logins are account, webmail and forum, 3 logins, 3 passwords. These logins I use frequently.
So I click right, choose Bitwarden and then auto-fill in.
Unlock the vault needs my BW log in and password (not yet PIN nor biometrics login possible).
Logged in in BW I should be able to choose the desired log in. WRONG !!
BW tells me no matches are found!!
This happened to me several times! Before it worked, and the logins and passwords (copied from the desktop app thus exist) do work.
My browser extension is still on version 2023.8.3, desktop is version 2023.8.4, Windows 11 fully patched.
No BW updates available when searching.

At the moment, this seems to be solved.
BW Desktop is now updated to 2023.9, maybe that solved it? Anyway other issues (PIN) are solved as well.
