Browser extension configuration loss at update

Lately, since the beggining of the year I think, I noticed more frequent extension updates.

The reason I noticed it is because quite each time the self-hosted configuration deployed by GPO.

Users do not see it and land on bitwarden.com to create a non self-hosted account.

Is there a way to avoid this behaviour at each update ?
