Hi, during the past fewdays, i had some issues unlocking my vault on one particular account. I am using the browser extension with the free plan. Is there anything I can do?

First, please establish that there is nothing wrong with your account. The easiest way to do so would be to log in to this account using the Web Vault link vault.bitwarden.com. If this works without issues, then you can try some of the remediations below.
- Try to log out of your browser extension. If you don’t see the Log out button when you first open the browser extension, then try to click on the colored circle in the top right corner (to open the Account Actions screen), verify that the problem account is labeled as “active”, and click the “Log out” link from that screen. If you are able to log out, then log back in again.
- Remove (uninstall) the Bitwarden browser extension from your browser, and then reinstall it. Then log in to the account.
- If a simple reinstall does not fix the issue, then do a clean reinstall by uninstalling the extension, closing the browser, deleting the browser extension data folder (if still present), rebooting your computer, and only then restarting your browser and reinstalling the extension.
