I just installed Bitwarden Authenticator to test it out and consider migrating from Google Authenticator.
I’m mostly interested in the sync with my Bitwarden Vault, so that TOTP are auto-filled in websites.
I enabled the sync before doing anything else or adding any TOTP. For some reason I don’t understand, my account synced 7 TOTPs from sites from my account in the app. Thing is, I have never added a TOTP to my account, to any site.
And even funnier is that if I check that same item in my browser extension, it doesn’t have a TOTP in there. This is true for each of the 7 items that showed up synced.
Where do they come from?
And a second question. I imported a TOTP which got added to an item. I synced to my Bitwarden Vault, and tested it in the browser. While the item shows a URL code added to it, the button to copy a code is disabled, and it didn’t auto-fill the 2FA in the website (the user and pass were autofilled fine).

Is this how it’s meant to work? Or does it in fact not autofill?
