i’d like to know when auto-type for windows arrives :slight_smile:

@Pl8tinium Welcome to the forum!

My personal guess is that it won’t be too much longer (perhaps by the end of the year??). The most recent development activities seem to involve minor optimizations (e.g., PR #16763) and infrastructure for QA testing (e.g., PR #16710).

Looks like this feature will only be available for Premium users, though (see PR #16042).

Premium is only about $10/yr plus tax.

Today, drag-and-drop and copy-paste are free. I can’t imagine Bitwarden would take that away from the free tier.

Currently, browsers based on Chromium, such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, support PRF WebAuthn. This functionality will come to other Bitwarden clients in future releases.

Is there any timeline for when other clients will get passwordless login? If the iOS client and FF extension would get this, I could finally have my dream setup of a completely passwordless life! But the passwordless beta has been going on since January 2024 now. I would appreciate to know if it is still being worked on and if we can expect a (beta) release for other clients soon.

@gritty Welcome to the forum!

There is some acitivity in that direction… See those feature requests:

There seems to be this 16385 passkey-login pull that has been merged into main, so passkey login on Chromium browsers may be just a few releases away.

There is also this related 16662 passkey-unlock pull, and they seem to be working on review issues before merging into main, so this seems ā€œsoonā€ as well.

Any idea when Auto fill and save to IOS will start making the it to a roadmap?

A post was merged into an existing topic: Bring ā€˜Auto fill and save’ to iOS

Does the bitwarden cli will have access to the login with passkey or maybe this is not the same thing ?

When will the roadmap be updated again? I mean, the last version is from May of this year.

Even though the top post header has not been updated (and still says ā€œUpdated May 2025ā€), the roadmap itself has undergone minor changes and was last updated August 29 (hover over the :pencil: icon to see the last modification date):

The changes since May include the addition of two ā€œSIEM integrationā€ items, and updated status (:white_check_mark:) for items that have been completed.

Any chance we will see a vault health dashboard in the 2026 roadmap?
