Bitwarden no longer shows # of logins and extremely S-L-O-O_W

I’ve been using BW for a few years with Brave. As of a few days ago it no longer displays how many logins (on the badge) for the web page and when I click on it is is extremely slow to load the stored data. What gives?

Seem quite a few people are reporting problems with the most recent extension update (2024.8.1). Some people seem to have fixed (possibly unrelated issues with):

  1. Disabling and then re-enabling the extension.
  2. Uninstalling, restarting the browser, and reinstalling the extension.

Step 1 of your trick worked. Just disabled and re-enabled BW and then had to reenter my master pwd and all is well.
