I have been using Bitwarden for a while but I just installed the firefox web extension for the first time. The first website I tried is concursolutions.com, and I’m seeing very strange behavior that I can’t find any other posts about.
The login page has a field for username/email/SSO/etc. (no password field yet). When I first load the page that field has a little pop-up prompting me to unlock Bitwarden. I logged into BW, entered the username, and now the popup allows me to click the login I just created. So far so good.
After I click it there’s a little animation, but the username field is still blank. What’s worse, I now can’t even type in the field, or copy/paste into it - nothing I do will make characters appear in the field. In order to type my username manually, I have to reload the page.
Edit: after playing around with it a little, I realize it doesn’t necessarily keep the field blank. Activating BW by clicking the dropdown or the shield icon will lock the field so that whatever is written there can’t change. If I type something before doing that, it can’t be changed or deleted. If it is blank, it stays blank.
I tried a couple other websites and they seem to work as expected; haven’t found any others that do this. Any idea what’s going on?
I am using Firefox Version 122.0.1 (the latest version) on an up-to-date version of Windows 11 Enterprise. I use the uBlock Origin extension, but I tried deactivating that and got the same behavior. This is a managed machine so it’s possible some enterprise security software is messing with it, but I don’t know what or why it would do that only on the Concur website and not others.
