Bitwarden Extension causes very stuttery typing in Firefox

UPDATE:

It makes typing very stuttery.

I first thought it’s due to my Drivers or the fact that I didn’t restart my Firefox in a little while but just now after disabling the Bitwarden Extension, I can confirm that it is the Bitwarden Extension that causes massive stutters while typing!

  • 9070 XT (25.10.2)

  • 7800x3d

  • 32GB RAM

  • Win10, 22H2

  • Firefox: 144.0.2

  • Bitwarden: 2025.10.0

This is probably the same problem that was reported on Github in Issue #17128.

In addition, in a comment on Reddit, @RyanL responded that the Bitwarden team is aware if the issue and investigating.
