Bitwarden EDGE extension slow to load

Sometime in the last month or so the Bitwarden extension in EDGE has started to take about 10 seconds to open. It used to open almost instantly. EDGE is up to date, Bitwarden is 2025.6.1. Therefore the issue may have started with the last Bitwarden update.
The extra time is annoying, but my concern is that maybe something in EDGE is snooping.
Any thoughts?

At first, please try the following:

  1. log out in the BW app (be sure you can log in again! → master password and 2FA or “new device email verification code”)
  2. deinstall the app
  3. check if the local data of the app is deleted (Data Storage | Bitwarden)
  4. restart your computer
  5. re-install the BW app
  6. log in again

Thank you, that solved the problem. I guess something in the local data was getting clogged with old stuff.
