Bitwarden Android App login incorrect after changing e-mail address on web

Bitwarden Android App ,Version: 2025.10.0 (20794),:mobile_phone: Fairphone FP5 .

Bitwarden Android App password incorrect after changing it on web:

No Problem Login in Browser, but App not anymore. I got no hint.

The E-Mail address with password is the same in both platforms, or not?

And i can not login with fingerprint on the app as before.

I changed web vault also to fingerprint after email change. And Login at the same time ist ok? Perhaps this interferes?

What can i do???

Yep. And server region also stays the same – so when you try to login again, make sure you’re trying it on the server region your account “exists” on. (US/.com ↔ EU/.eu)

Then your session was already invalidated there, I guess. (and technically, biometric unlock is not a login → Understand Log In vs. Unlock | Bitwarden) – When you can login again to the mobile app, you can set up biometric unlock again.

That is a bit confusing. So, did you set up a “login-with-passkeys”-passkey for your Bitwarden account? That would explain it.

No, when you set up a “login-with-passkey”-passkey, that doesn’t interfere with the regular login. You are still able to login with email, master password and 2FA (or NDLP, alternatively). – And you can also be logged in with more than one client at a time.

Hm, you wrote, you can login in your browser (web vault or browser extension?) – with your new master password? Then, I think I mentioned some things above, which might already help.

It seems that the mobile app needs 1 hour to check the changes from web app.
This has to be changed.

So no Fingerprint is possible on mobile App any more?

No, it is still possible. Just set up biometric unlock again for the mobile app, just as before. (–> Unlock With Biometrics | Bitwarden)

What is not possible at the moment: to use that “login-with-passkeys”-passkey for other BW clients than the web vault.
