Bitwarde requires daily unlocking

I’m new to Bitwarden, so I don’t know if this is normal, but I have to unlock my vault several times a day. I can understand having to unlock after I reboot either my system or my browser (FireFox), but this happens several times a day. Is this normal, do I have to unlock my vault every time I use it, or is something wrong?
