When Biometrics are used on the app, ask for the master password or a second factor on a regular, user-defined, basis.
However, I do not want to enter my master password in the public. Therefore allow “renewing” the master password or second factor earlier and show a notification “X days until master password has to be confined. Confirm now?” or similar.

Do know that when your vault is locked, it is encrypted and considered equally secure as being logged out, with the added benefit of being able to unlock with biometrics. Knowing this detail, I generally do not logout, instead keeping it locked with a short timeout.

yes I am aware of this. I find it still useful having an option to “log out” after a certain time for devices that are not stationary.
For that, perhaps this feature request would be deserving of your vote. Primary difference as I see it is that “your” FR adds a heads-up to an impending timeout.
