Since I did the bitwarden update (app + Brave browser extension), the unlocking by bimetrics doesn’t work. When I click the button, nothing happens.
Could you help me to solve this, svp ?
Hello, there is something wrong with the unlock with biometrics feature on the extension when using the Brave browser on Windows 11. I have to activate biometric unlock every day. It seems to work for the day after I reset it, but then after restarting Windows, biometric unlock does not work again, and I have to reset it again.
Both “Unlock with biometrics” and “Ask for biometrics” options are checked in the Account Security menu; however, when the vault is locked, the only option I get is to enter the password. In order to get the biometrics unlock to work again, I have to unlock using my password, uncheck both “Unlock with biometrics” and “Ask for biometrics” options, and then check both options again. I have to do this every day to reset the unlock with the biometrics feature.
This is never an issue when using the MS Edge or Firefox browsers, which are the other browsers I use. This issue only happens in Brave.
