I think Android provides support for autofilling the app, which Windows didn’t (or doesn’t). All the Windows password managers that provide app “autofilling” do it by keyboard emulation. There is a feature on the roadmap, which seems release-imminent:
My Android apps mostly require login only once as well; after that, they are all probably token-based or actually keep the credentials in the Android credential manager itself. The exception is when you need to reinstall the app or if there is an update hiccup. With Android’s security model, I don’t feel the need to log out from my apps, so I end up using Android BW for other conveniences like keeping passwords for other people, storing passwords that I have to type in, approving “Login by device,” and secure notes.
I believe some people keep their important apps (like finances) logged out and constantly need BW to log in.
