How do I set up entering the above when a window pops up when I first use either of these desktop apps asking for my encryption key. I have tried all sorts and got no where. Hope its possible.

I am not sure how the websites are setup to enter the encryption keys, but if it is form based, you might try setting up a custom field and setting it to autofill on page load. Here are the instructions:
