It is this feature missing that makes the mac experience clunky. Is there any update?
Also waiting for this to be implemented
this feature would be really nice to have, i have it on my phone and its awesome but some times Iām on my mac and have to pull up bitwarden when i rather it realize that it needs to fill out a field and i just press what i want and move forward, i keep my hopes out for this!
This feature would be an absolute game changer just like it was when I implemented its use in iOS and iPadOS, seems slightly ridiculous that itās not available on macOS yet. Hopefully itās integrated soon.
Please - just give us an update and if its on the roadmap.
A feature IĀ“m definetley missingā¦
Welcome, @tomi_ebc to the community!
Bitwarden publishes their āpublic facingā roadmap via an ever-fresh link at the top of this and every community page.
This request has my upvote. Native autofill integration would be great to bring Bitwardenās behavior in line with what a new user might expect. This would ease user training for Bitwarden organization consumers too.
Crazy this hasnāt been implemented yet
+1 This is a must have feature now especially with Mac having a native Passwords app with autofill functionality
Will this ever happen?
It is on the roadmap
Adding my vote here in the comments since itās not letting me vote at the top, just says ālimitā even though I have not voted for anything else. Thanks.
+1 to this. Itās much needed.
Welcome, @ahso to the community!
Voting in comments does not add to the total. Spend a bit of time reading and you will get a notice that you have become a ābasic userā (as opposed to ānew userā. At that point, you will be able to vote.

I hope they implement this soon! Itās very tempting to just use the integrated passwords vault and Iād like to keep using Bitwarden (with the convenience of this integration)
Iām really looking forward to having macOS native autofill implemented soon. Iāve been using 1Password mainly, but if Bitwarden brings this in, Iāll be making the switch in a heartbeat. Itās about time to enjoy that seamless experience. Fingers crossed that it gets rolled out soon!
Iām hoping on this implementation soon.
+1
Iāve just migrated from 1Password and they have a pretty cool functionality called Quick Access Iām missing on Bitwarden.
By just pressing CTRL
+ SHIFT
+ Space
, it shows a list of my saved items and allows auto-typing in my currently open app.
After 7 years of non-action. I think its safe to assume there is major security issues with this requested feature. All though it would be a great thing to have I doubt it will come to fruition due to the fact that even microsoftās own credential manager isnāt safe from hacks.
Even being locked down by encryption / mandatory usage of a external passkey there would still be significant measures needed to block info grabbers from getting in the chain if a PC had been compromised.
