I keep checking this thread from time to time, only to see that thereās still no news. Any chance somebody from the Bitwarden team can chime in regarding this request? Especially with passkeys coming to Bitwarden, using Bitwarden natively on Mac to manage passwords and passkeys seems like a no brainer.
(Dashlane installed for illustrative purposes only. Just wish I could see Bitwarden there as an option!)

Iāve been delighted with the iOS/iPadOS integration - itās one reason why I migrated to Bitwarden. I got my first MacOS device the other day and am appalled that there is no MacOS integration.
Yes please ! Iām was looking for a replacement for 1 Password that randomly stops working in my browser and this feature would have sold it for me.
+1 for native auto-fill on macOS. I use native app and frequently switch between browsers for work. I would love to streamline filling login credentials: for now I use Bitwarden extension for whichever browser I happen to be in. It works, but itās a quite clunky process 
+1 Here too. Been trying to use Mac and want to get rid of as much of Apple native apps as possible including whatever they have for password manager.

Thanks for the input. The Bitwarden MacOS desktop is built on Electron and there are no plans to move away from that - the move from Xamarin to native mobile apps was a result of Microsoft shutting down support for Xamarin.
That said, the team will look into enabling MacOS autofill - perhaps, itās not too difficult if itās available from the OS!
Thatās great news! Like all the previous commenters, I agree that the community would very much appreciate this.
This feature would be fantastic for all Mac users. As a Native/JavaScript developer myself, I donāt think it would take too much effort, especially compared to the benefits it will provide for BitWarden.

My opinion here is not unique - Iād leave copy-paste login technique in the past.
iOS app can now installed for Mac from TestFlight. Is this intended behavior or glitch? However, I canāt test that because I canāt change server to EU.
Iāve been experimenting with it ever since it became accessible via TestFlight on MacOS.
Is the Safari inline autofill glitchy with this? Absolutely.
Does it work? Surprisingly, to some extent (passkeys can be used, for example).
Nevertheless, the TestFlight build has numerous problems on iOS as well. Itāll be interesting to see whether it works better on MacOS as they address the ongoing iOS issues. That is, assuming they donāt withdraw the build from MacOS, as itās evidently not an intentional MacOS rollout.
Nonetheless, it clearly shows the potential for native MacOS autofill.
