OK, thanks for the additional information. Saw the bug report on Github (yours or somebody else who has the exact same issue on Reddit) — hope it gets some traction. You might consider also posting about the issue on www.reddit.com/r/bitwarden for additional visibility.
Just to add that I can reproduce this behaviour on Monterey 12.5.1 using Safari and the BW extension.
No issues with Chrome or Firefox.
