I lost all my authentication codes in the Android Bitwarden Authenticator app after the most recent update

Android version: Android 10

Problem description:

App opens and runs normally, but it doesn’t show any of the previously saved 2fa codes. It’s like the new update erased all data from the previous version including my authentication codes

… those were codes that were locally stored in the BW authenticator app? – Or were those synced codes?

They were locally stored! I honestly wasn’t aware there existed synced TOTP codes

Hm. Personally, I might try to deinstall/reinstall the authenticator app… But maybe better contact BW support to see if they have an idea.

PS: Did you restart the phone since it happened? Do you have an export as a backup?

I’ve already done so, but unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue.

I have not restarted the phone. And no, I don’t have a backup.

It seems the best idea is to just contact support and see what they have to say :cry:
