Android - 2025.1.0 release - biometrics with Face no longer offered (fingerprint only)

It’s not just you. Samsung’s camera (amongst many others) has not been certified to the level that Bitwarden requires.

Face biometric not working on Samsung s24 phone

I have been using face recognition to unlock bitwarden on my phone (samsung s24 android v14) for a year now with no problem. Now it doesnt work. When i check the “Account Security” option in the bitwarden app, it said unlock with biometrics is not compatible with the biometrics options available on this device. Did bitwarden updated and took away this option? how do i fix it? Thanks.
