Whereas what you are considering builds upon this existing feature…
… and probably it could also be renamed to “Log in with another BW client” (or this feature request to “Unlock with another BW client”)… as two BW clients interact with each other for that.
Login / Unlock with passkeys on the other hand make use of passkeys for login / unlock.
PS: I now added (i.e. with another BW client) to the title.
Yea, I have never been thrilled by the Bitwarden terminology calling my Chrome extension, my Firefox extension and my desktop app three different devices, despite the fact that they are all on one PC.
Traditional use of the word “device” is a piece of hardware, not a piece of software.
