Enable a new “Rules” section on each stored login item where users can define fine-grained, per-credential behaviors. In this panel, users could toggle autofill on or off for that specific entry, require strict subdomain matching (e.g. only login.bank.com
, not bank.com
), enforce HTTPS-only autofill, or disable filling into iframes. Additional options might include “Only fill on first form field,” “Prompt before filling,” or “Do not autofill on these URL patterns” (wildcards supported). All rule settings would be saved alongside the credential and applied automatically in browser extensions and desktop/mobile apps, giving users full control over where, when, and how each login is used.

@umbrarix To help you articulate a feature request proposing functionality that is not already present in the Bitwarden browser extension, I would suggest that you more thoroughly familiarize yourself with Bitwarden’s various configuration options for autofilling; you can learn more about this topic by expanding the Password Manager > Autofill menu in the Help Center, and reviewing all of the articles available there:
If you have questions about how to set up something specific, feel free to post a question in the Ask the Community section of the forum.
In the meantime, I have closed this topic, because your request has too much overlap with features that already exist.
