Add Enterprise Policy to Disable Personal Folder Creation

Summary
Please add an Enterprise Policy that allows administrators to disable personal folder creation for non‑admin users.
Problem
Even with Enforce Organization Data Ownership enabled, users can still create folders in My Items because folders are always available as a personal organizational tool in Bitwarden. This is confirmed in Bitwarden’s documentation, which states that folders are used to organize an individual vault and remain available across clients.
The existing policy only restricts item ownership, not folder creation.
Why This Is Needed
It creates inconsistency and confusion in enterprise environments and prevents admins from standardizing vault structure.
Proposed Solution
Add a policy such as:
“Disable personal folder creation”
Prevents creating, renaming, or deleting folders
Hides or locks the folder UI for standard users
Keeps My Items functional but without folder management
Benefit
Improves consistency, compliance, and usability for organizations.

@kareemah Welcome to the forum!

It seems to me that this feature request would need to be combined with request to allow creation and management of organization-wide folders. Otherwise, you would have no structure at all for your organization-owned items (other than any structure that may be imposed by assigning items to collections).

Hmm. “My items” is owned by the organization.

But folders are kind of “neutral” (in regards to “storing” both personal and organizational vault items – including “My items” and items from Collections) and folders just exist in their own structure.

So, if this request would be “implemented” and folders would still be there for vault items only from Collections – I don’t know what then would be different from the current state. (other than it would not be possible to assign vault items from “My items” to any folder)

So, probably @kareemah your request is (or should be?) about disabling any folder usage in the entire Organization?
