You are right about this, and there are already existing Feature Request topics (and at least one bug report) for some of the things that you’ve mentioned:

### Steps To Reproduce
1. Log on to version 2025.6.1 of the Bitwarden desktop a… pp on Windows.
2. Expand the height of the app to fill the height of your monitor.
3. Navigate to any item in your vault.
4. Scroll down to the 'Notes' field (this is now displayed within the 'Additional Options' section).
### Expected Result
I expect the height of the 'Notes' field to expand automatically, so as to fit the available window size: this is what it did in previous versions of the Bitwarden desktop app.
### Actual Result
The 'Notes' field shows only 5 lines of text, regardless of how much text has actually been entered.

### Additional Context
This bug makes it awkward to read, and VERY awkward to edit the 'Notes' field -- especially when you consider that the 'Notes' field may contain up to 10,000 characters. Please restore the code which used to auto-size the height of the 'Notes' field.

In previous versions of the Bitwarden app on Windows, the default size of the Notes field was considerably larger than it is in the current version, i.e. 2025.6.1.
The SHRINKAGE in the default height of the Notes field makes it inconvenient to read a long Note. It also renders the Bitwarden app very NOT-user-friendly when editing a long Note – especially when we consider that the Notes field can contain up to 10,000 characters.
Clarification: I can see in version 2025.6.1, that there is an …
Hi.
We’re testing BW as a replacement for GPG encrypted text files. Text files are currently managed via vim, thus from command line. And we find it very useful to have console monospaced font so we can manually adjust alignment, create rudimentary tables and so on.
BW’s “Private note” is what we would mostly use, but the current implementation has totally no control over the text… It would be great to be able to either use monospaced fonts in textareas OR, probably better for everyone else, a…
