Welcome, @KZimm182 to the community. I moved your feature request into an existing request for the same thing. After you have browsed around the community for 30 minutes or so you will graduate from “new user” to “basic user”. When that happens, feel free to come back to his topic and vote for it (blue button at the very top).
I think that @KZimm182 just meant to give the Identity items an expiration date field like the one that we already have for Card items, not a functional expiration date for the entire vault item (which is what is being proposed in this topic the other topic, to which the post was temporarily relocated).
