You have not been wasting our time. What was learned here is that a “complete redesign” is not likely to be adopted. That does not mean one needs to give up. Instead, focus on individual things that could be done better.
My suggestion, describe in words what could be done better and maybe include a before and after picture of the how you envision the change. Here is an example, although it actually has been implemented today (it is a setting in “Appearance”):
@umbrarix I also don’t think that time of ours was wasted… And as I wrote before, I didn’t want to discourage you (maybe above all “reduce possible disappointments”) - and who knows, maybe some of your design ideas do get implemented someday… I just wanted to “lower expectations”, that it will be in a few months (to put it very cautiously and “neutral”), as the current new design is not even fully “rolled out” yet, as I explained…
That doesn’t mean, that any new design ideas are completely in vain.
PS: And, yeah, as @DenBesten just suggested, a “more narrow road” would also be, to seek for improvements within the current “new” design.
Nah man I ain’t quitting just having some fun and I am working on it whenever I am getting time and will work on all the things you said cuz as I mentioned I am new and learning things and I don’t have any experience just working on it whenevr I got time
idk
it is just for desktop if this will work i would try to redesign the extensions ui because this will form a base like how things will look and work
There is a lot of missing basic functions, such as: New item, Generator, Send, Export/Import, Lock, Check version (“About”), Update, etc.
There is very little screen real estate for viewing and editing information (which is the main purpose of the desktop version compared to the others).
The “Edit” button has a different shape (larger corner radius) than the “Delete” button — was this a deliberate choice?
Usernames are not horizontally aligned with item name.
Website icons are not vertically aligned with item name.
When “Login” filter is applied, the filter label disappears, so that it is not possible to see which vault filter is active. Also, the avatar icon in the lower left corner disappears when the “Login” filter is applied.
On the “Trash” screen, the “Edit” button has a different font, size (smaller), and shape (square corners) than on the other screens. Why is there an “Edit” button on this screen anyway? Wouldn’t a “Restore” button make more sense?
The alignment of the account email address in the lower left corner is not consistent as one switches from screen to screen.
