Security: Allow PIN as alternative to biometrics for app login/unlock

Just wanted to update that you can now customize your session timeout on iOS and on Android you will be asked for biometrics each time.

Hey @dwbit, as there was a post here Unlock with Face ID whenever app is visible I just checked my current Android authenticator app 2025.5.0…

1. If the app is active in background, I don’t get asked to “unlock” it with biometrics again if I open it.
2. I don’t see any setting to customize the session timeout.

Neither do I find any hint to it in the corresponding Help section (Bitwarden Authenticator | Bitwarden etc.)

Am I blind??

PS: If those settings were there - or arrive with the next version, then this other FR: Add 'session timeout' settings could probably be closed.

PPS: As it seems (see this post) session timeout options are available on the iOS authenticator app, but not on the Android authenticator app (both spoken spoken for versions 2025.5.0).
