The issue that was being discussed in this thread has been solved, but there have recently been some new reports from users who experience the password save prompt even for domains that are on the exclusion list (set by clicking “Never” at the prompt). So there may be an emergent bug. I would suggest posting in the currently active topic (linked below) instead of in this solved topic from 2021:
